Junior: Exercise Science

My name is Carl Tart and I am a junior Exercise Science major from Yazoo City, MS. I am elated to serve as the Vice President’s Chief of Staff this year. I first joined the Black Student Union as a freshman member, reprising my membership sophomore year as the Director of Student Life & Success on the BSU cabinet during its celebratory 50th year anniversary. This organization has allowed me to utilize my unorthodox leadership ability to stimulate the growth of Black Ole Miss students through inclusively cultured programming. Two of my core values are experience and inclusivity, and I decided to become a part of the e-board to continue fostering minority development in all aspects of the university and to increase the Black/African-American leadership focus on our campus.
